The Autotime Premium software and hardware is designed and manufactured in Great Britain for large and small commercial and industrial organisations.
Companies benefit from knowing their outgoing costs from day one because Autotime Premium provides endless lists of advantages. It contains 4 integrated modules, single user or networking facility, unlimited employees/shifts/departments/groups/companies/absences etc. as standard and at no extra charge. NB. Many other software packages will charge for additional modules used and each employee break sizes. The 4 modules included free of charge are as follows: -

ACCESS CONTROL
The software and hardware is extremely powerful but very simple and easy to use. It is not unlike any Microsoft software application that you may be running at the moment as you might find that you only use 30% of Autotime Premiums resources. However, you have the facility to easily use other features as and when you require them. Autotime Premium can be as simple or as complicated, as you want it to be, just choose the options that suit you.
Single User & Networking
The software is a true 32bit application, which can be installed as a single user or multi-user client based application for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP & Novell.
Archive Data
The system can calculate the hours worked for up to 20 rates of overtime working fixed, continental, rotational, flexi-time shifts and flexible working hours. All totals can be overwritten by the end user for extra flexibility.
Working Time Indicator
Customised profile rules are set up for staff who opt IN/OUT of the working time directive to track the hours worked over a 17 week period. The start and week period profiles can also be changed.
Import/Export
Data files can be transferred from other 3 rd party packages e.g. Personnel, Payroll package etc.
Attendance Display Panel
When staff swipe their badges they will update the ADP with their relevant IN/OUT status. A notify on return message can be assigned to individuals. This feature can be individually installed e.g. Reception PC.
Payroll Linking
The data files for the hours worked by employees can be transferred to a 3 rd party payroll package quite easily because Autotime Premium can output as standard a selection of export file formats. Custom links have already been written to various payroll systems e.g. Sage, Pegasus, Tetra, Micropay etc.
Roll Call
To find out who’s on/off site at any given time of the day/night.
ID Badges
There are various inexpensive ways to create your own company image onto an ID badge, which are as follows: -
- ID self-seals - Overlay a laminate seal on top of your standard badge with an ID photo.
- 3 Part Pouch - Insert your own logo card design with photo and seal through a laminator.
- Security Badge - A fully tamperproof badge with full colour logo card design and ID photo.
Messaging
A unique facility which enables the users to advise staff of a customised message when they swipe IN/OUT on the terminal e.g. Happy Birthday, See supervisor before commencing work, See Payroll Department immediately, Your late again etc.
Crystal Reports
There are over 400 standard reports available within Autotime Premium. Each report can be altered and customised to enable the end user to run reports for individuals, departments, groups, company’s etc. over a selection of date range options.
Many Developers or IT personnel may have a copy of the well known Crystal reports (version 6) report writer software which can also be purchased from most software providers. With the report writer you are able to customise your own report layouts and define extra fields and formulas.
We can also provide an in-house report designing facility should you require customised layouts.
Wizards
Autotime Premium has a selection of help wizards that talk and advise you on what to do next and to help you create your own shift patterns.
Passwords & Audit Trail
Various levels can be set-up for each user on the system i.e. Individual screen access, Report Templates restrictions, only access to certain groups of staff etc. A full audit trail that lists all entries created or deleted.
Software & Hardware Communications
The data gathered at the swipe terminals can be processed in 2 ways: -
- Manually via the main software.
- Automatically via the task Scheduler. This program is separate to the main software and can be pre-set with times and dates to carry out different tasks. The retrieval and sending of data from the swipe terminals can be set up as a continuous event to give you real time information. Reports can also be set up to run at day and time intervals.
Hardware
The swipe terminals are available with various technology e.g. Magnetic readers, Bar Code readers, Proximity readers, Finger scanning, Bar Code Scanners, Bar Code Wands and Light Pens.
The terminals can be connected via RS232, RS422 & TCP/IP. Modems can be used for retrieving information at remote sites. We can also utilise a Cat 5 cabling infrastructure for ease of use.

3 rd Party Developers
Developers who wish to integrate Autotime Premium into 3 rd party packages are able to use an OPEN database, which is written in Visual Basic 6 with .MDB file extensions for Microsoft Access 97.

The complete Autotime Premium range follows an extensive development program, which is constantly being updated.

Flexi-time module Used in many borough councils, offices etc. To record attendance hours for the current period and carry over of flexi-time hours into the next period. To record the tracking of leui days and business absences etc.
Job costing/shop floor data collection To record the amount of employee hours spent on jobs and operations on the shop floor for productive and non-productive hours worked.
Access Control Restriction of access internally or externally to buildings with time zoning for employees. |
