Role: Accounts Administrator Vacancy – Full time & Part time

 

We are a small expanding Time Attendance Management and Access Control company based in Winchmore Hill. We supply, service and install basic and computerised systems all over the country for large and small organisations.

 

Some of our support and sales team work from home and are situated strategically around the country and linked to head office via the main central server. Therefore, a good telephone manner and organisation / communication skills are essential for not only external customers but for internal personnel.

 

We are looking for a bright individual to work in the main office. This job would suit somebody who has previous accounts experience within a small organisation, likes to have a wide variety of jobs, can work under pressure, good at prioritising their own workload and work on their own initiative.

 

The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be willing to help out in all areas as the job evolves. On occasion you may be required to provide cover and help for the main office, which is essential in the smooth running of the front end of the company.

Guide to the range of duties that may have to be undertaken as follows: -


Main accounting procedures


Entering Purchase Orders/Invoices, Sales Orders/Invoices
Chasing Debtors and paying Creditors
Collating Delivery notes to purchase orders/invoices
Vetting New customer accounts and references
Banking for main accounts and Credit Card Payments
Bank Reconciliation including Credit Card & Petty Cash Accounts
Statements
Petty Cash
Company cars and mileage/expenses
Month/End of Year Returns, P11D’s, VAT
Service Agreement Contract negotiations
Stock Control for stores and Staff

 

Additional


The candidate must have a reasonable level of PC Experience and be willing to learn new software packages. Excellent opportunities exist for the right person to progress their skills within the organisation.

 

Essential to the Role


Busy, hands-on and fast paced, so the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines is essential. Previous accounting experience in a similar role is required.

No experience required for the Junior position as full training will be given.

Guide to the range of duties that may have to be undertaken as follows: -


Answering the telephone to existing and new customers
Taking and processing repeat and new orders
Transferring calls externally to sales and support staff working from their office/homes
Sales Team support i.e. quotations, letters, emails, appointments, literature confirmation receipt etc.
Purchase order processing
Booking in stock
Setting systems up for despatch
Filing, faxing, emailing, photocopying
Entering of new enquiries onto contact and accounts system.
Postal duties, mail shots, printing literature, copying and burning cd’s etc
Liasing with customers for faults/breakdowns and Hire clock processing

Role: Technical Systems Helpdesk Support Vacancy – Full Time


Wisegrove Ltd is a small well-established company with over 25 years experience in the Time and Attendance and Communications industry. We are currently seeking the right applicant/s to fulfil the role of Technical Systems Helpdesk Engineer preferably with experience of Helpdesk or Software Support based at our head office. There is also a trainee Junior position available for this role.


The ideal candidate would also be capable with liaising with our engineers out on site and keeping existing customers up to date with current releases. Plenty of energy and enthusiasm towards customer care essential. Self-motivation and the desire to succeed within a progressive technical & sales environment are equally important. Good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and work to tight deadlines are an essential part of the job.


Preference will be given to candidates with a good background in PC’s, networking capabilities and ability to apply a flexible attitude. Knowledge of the Time & Attendance & Access industry is not essential, as full training will be provided in house. The helpdesk support is varied i.e. assisting customers in the installation of mail order systems over the telephone, training online, detecting and solving problems, backups and restoring, data manipulation, programming new requirements into the software rules etc. Excellent opportunities exist for the right person to progress within the organisation.


Duties will include:-


Providing technical assistance to customers on the support helpdesk
Programming/Setup of basic pc linked systems with customers specifications
Liaise with field based engineers and assist in scheduling installations and equipment.
Workshop repairs, reconditioning & servicing
Remote assistance to customers pc’s
