The software is shipped with the FREE Microsoft SQL engine or can be installed onto a SQL Server. No SQL knowledge is required.     ActIn Time agents are responsible for a number of key tasks:

     

    The Event Handler looks after the system maintenance and manages scheduled events throughout the day.

     

    The Fire Roll Call agent is responsible for monitoring your fire alarm system whilst collecting information from the hardware and delivering it to the SQL database on the server.

     

    The Calculation Agent is the workhorse behind the product – it is responsible for processing the data in the exact way each client requires.

     

    The Employee Self Service (ESS) / The Web Client (TWC) facilitates individuals that use the intranet/internet features within ActIn Time.

     

    The Terminal Enquiry Agent processes any special requests, such as a real-time flexi balance, made by employees at the terminal.

     

    The Data Collection Agent is a new service we've added which is dedicated entirely to the gathering of clocking data and the updating of hardware when changes are made within the software.

     

    And finally, the Email Agent handles all ActIn Time email alerts.
